What we offer

We are looking for practitioners to share space with us on the following services

Several practitioners, several things

Different practitioners work from these rooms on different days, so what is available depends partly on when you can come. Ring and describe the problem rather than picking from a list — that is the fastest route to the right person.

Acupuncture

A registered profession in Australia. First appointment about an hour, mostly history, then an examination and treatment if appropriate. Commonly sought for persistent pain, sleep and digestion.

Chinese herbal medicine

A separate registration from acupuncture, and not every practitioner holds both. Never supplied without a consultation, because what is appropriate depends on your history and what you already take.

Remedial massage

Hands-on soft tissue work for a specific complaint — a shoulder, a back, a neck that locks up at a desk. Governed by professional associations rather than AHPRA.

Movement and group sessions

Taught in small groups rather than one to one. Teaching, not treatment.

Which one do you need?

One muscle, one event, one place that hurts: start with massage. A picture with several parts to it and some history behind it: acupuncture or Chinese medicine, where the hour of questions earns its keep. And anything new, anything getting worse, anything nobody has looked at: a doctor first.

What none of them do

Replace medical care. Nobody here will tell you to stop a prescription or to skip a referral, and you should tell your GP what you are doing.

Fees and times

Ask reception for the current list rather than relying on a page that may be out of date. A first appointment is usually an hour; follow-ups are shorter.
